Getting started

What is brain-body fitness?

Brain-body fitness combines cognitive exercises with physical movement to improve both mental sharpness and physical strength simultaneously. Our dual-task training challenges your brain while strengthening your body, leading to better balance, coordination, memory, and overall quality of life.

Who is Marbles for?

Marbles is designed for adults of all ages who want to stay sharp, strong, and independent. We especially help active adults 55+, those experiencing memory changes or brain fog, people transitioning from physical therapy, and individuals living with neurological conditions like Parkinson's or MCI.

What should I expect at my first visit?

Your first visit is a workout experience where we take you through exercises to evaluate your cognitive function, balance, strength, and mobility. This helps us find the program that fits you best. The session takes about 60 to 90 minutes and is conducted in a welcoming, supportive environment.

Do I need to be in shape to start?

No. We meet you where you are. Our programs are designed to be accessible for all fitness levels. Our certified coaches modify exercises to match your current abilities and gradually progress as you improve.

Programs & training

What types of programs do you offer?

We offer Brain + Body Workouts, Cognitive Training & Functional Fitness, Balance & Falls Prevention, Post-Rehab Bridge programs, Neurologic Programs (for Parkinson's, MCI and similar), and Memory & Brain Fog training. Each program can be customized to your specific needs.

How often should I attend sessions?

Most members see the best results with two to three sessions per week. However, we work with you to create a schedule that fits your lifestyle and goals. Consistency is more important than frequency.

Are sessions one-on-one or group?

We offer both. Our boutique studio provides small group sessions with individual attention, as well as private one-on-one training. Many members enjoy the community aspect of group sessions while still receiving personalized coaching.

What technology do you use?

We use evidence-informed technology including cognitive training software, balance tracking tools, and movement tracking systems. These tools help us measure your progress and customize your training for optimal results.

Membership & pricing

How much does membership cost?

We offer various membership options to fit different needs and budgets. Contact us for a free consultation where we will discuss your goals and recommend the best program for you. We believe in providing value through personalized, results-driven training.

Do you offer a free trial?

Yes. We offer a complimentary first workout and tour so you can experience our studio and meet our team before committing. This helps ensure Marbles is the right fit for you.

Is there a contract?

We offer flexible membership options including month-to-month plans. We are confident you will love the results, so we do not lock you into long-term contracts.

Health & safety

Are your coaches certified?

Absolutely. All our coaches are certified in older adult fitness and have specialized training in cognitive health, balance, and neurological conditions. They undergo continuous education to stay current with the latest research and techniques.

What if I have a medical condition?

We work with members who have various health conditions including Parkinson's, MCI, dementia, post-stroke recovery, and more. During your first workout we will identify any considerations, and we can coordinate with your healthcare providers to ensure safe, effective training.

Is brain-body training safe?

Yes. Our programs are designed with safety as a top priority. We start with a thorough first workout to understand your needs, progress gradually, and our coaches are trained to modify exercises as needed. We also have protocols in place for various health situations.
